Risen’s HJT modules were built for those afternoons — the RSM90 on your roof, Hyper-ion Pro on solar farms and commercial roofs. Their heterojunction cells hold on to more than 90% of their rated power even at 65°C, so the panel that shines on the spec sheet still shines at three o’clock in January — this summer, and every summer after.

Every solar panel gives up a little power each year. What matters is how much, and for how long. The RSM90’s heterojunction cells lose no more than 1% in the first year and 0.3% a year after that — a quarter less than the 0.4% a year on our n-type TOPCon rooftop modules. Small numbers, but they add up over decades: at year 40 the RSM90 is warranted to still deliver 87.3% of its rated power, where 0.4% a year would leave 83.4%. That’s 3.9 percentage points more from the same roof, written into a 40-year product and power warranty.

What cell technology do Risen modules use?
Risen’s current modules use n-type TOPCon or heterojunction (HJT) cells. HJT powers the flagship Hyper-ion range and the RSM90 residential module. Both are newer, higher-performing alternatives to the older p-type PERC cells.
