What battery chemistry does Risen storage use?

Risen’s battery energy storage systems use lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells. LFP is the most thermally stable mainstream lithium chemistry, which makes it a safe, long-cycle choice for grid-scale and commercial storage.

How is the eTron battery kept safe?

The eTron uses a five-layer protection architecture across the BMS, PCS and EMS, plus built-in fire protection — dry-pipe suppression, gas detection and ventilation, aerosol suppression and a full alarm system. Intelligent liquid cooling holds every cell in its optimal temperature band, even across Australia’s climate extremes.

Why liquid cooling instead of air cooling?

Liquid cooling keeps every cell in a tighter, cooler temperature band than air cooling. That means longer cell life, higher round-trip efficiency and safer operation — particularly valuable in hot Australian conditions.

How much energy and power does one eTron unit hold?

A single 20-foot eTron container delivers 5 MWh of storage capacity and 2.5 MW of power, IEC-certified for 50 Hz grids and designed for straightforward transport, siting and grid connection.

How long is the warranty on Risen storage?

Risen battery systems carry a standard 3-year warranty on key components — the LFP cells, power conversion system and cabinet — plus functional parts, with extended cover up to 5 years (Silver and Gold tiers) available under the sales contract.

Do you offer home batteries?

Risen’s Australian range currently focuses on grid-scale (utility) BESS and commercial & industrial storage. A residential home-battery range is being added — talk to our team about current systems and availability.
