Questions
Risen solar modules carry two separate warranties: a product warranty against defects in materials and workmanship (15 to 25 years depending on the module), and a 30-year linear performance warranty on power output. Residential rooftop modules sold in Australia and New Zealand come with a 25-year product warranty.
The product warranty covers physical defects in the module’s materials and workmanship. The performance (power) warranty separately guarantees the module keeps producing a minimum percentage of its rated output as it ages. Every module is covered by both at once.
Risen modules degrade very slowly — around 0.3–0.4% per year after a small first-year settling — so they are still guaranteed to deliver at least 87–90% of their original rated power at year 30, depending on the model.
Yes. Risen products sold here are backed by long-term product and performance warranties serviced by our local Australian team, so claims are assessed and resolved onshore rather than overseas.
The warranty start date is the earliest of three events: 60 days after the module’s factory test, 30 days after on-site delivery, or the date of commissioning.
Start with your Risen retailer or installer where possible. You can also email afterservice@risen.com or submit directly using our online claim form. Include a short description of the issue, photos of the module, a clear image of the module barcode, and proof of purchase and installation. A Risen representative acknowledges your claim within one business day and provides a preliminary assessment within two business days.
Yes. Risen’s battery energy storage systems carry a standard 3-year warranty on key components — the LFP cells, power conversion system and cabinet — plus functional parts, with extended cover up to 5 years (Silver and Gold tiers) available under the sales contract.
